The Drama League Offers Award-Winning Directors Project

Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, Kenneth Wirth serves as the chief executive officer of First Financial Resources, Ltd. A veteran financial services professional, Kenneth Wirth also manages The Midtown Men, a group slated to make its debut at The Kennedy Center during 2014. A producer of the play entitled “Peter and The Star Catcher,” the winner of five Tony Awards he recently joined the prestigious board of the The Drama League. Based in New York City but with a nationwide membership, the organization strives to enhance interactions between the artists and their audiences, and provide emerging theater artists training and professional development.

Since 1984, The Drama League has provided The Drama League Directors Project for aspiring and mid-level theater directors. More than 300 alumni of the project currently work in the entertainment industry, directing on- and off-Broadway, in film and TV, or in regional theaters across the nation. Additionally, they are educators or they are working as writers, agents, or in other aspects of the entertainment industry. Many have received Tonys, Emmys, and other notable awards. Designed to help young directors hone their skills and gain more rapid acceptance within the network of professionals, The Directors Project also affords attendees the opportunity to present their work.
