Broadway is comprised of a group of 40 professional theaters located in New York City at different areas in Midtown Manhattan, the Theater District, and Lincoln Center. Theaters with the capacity to hold at least 500 people are official Broadway theaters, while venues with between 100 and 499 seats are called off-Broadway theaters. Theaters with up to 99 seats are known as off-off-Broadway.

In the history of Broadway shows, the longest-running is the Phantom of the Opera, which has been performed over 11,400 times since its opening in 1988. In terms of the highest-grossing show, the Lion King stands out as having earned over $1.09 billion.

In the theater industry, the Tony Award is the most prestigious honor that can be bestowed to a show. The Tonys were first presented in 1947, when the award was a cigarette lighter for men and a compact for women. The Coast of Utopia (2007) and Fences (2010 revival) have received the highest number of Tony Award nominations to date. Each show was nominated 10 times. However, The Coast of Utopia has won the most Tony Awards.

Kenneth Wirth leads First Financial Resources Ltd., as the company’s CEO. Outside of his work world, Kenneth Wirth is involved with the New York City theater community. He is the Business Manager for The Midtown Men.

The four-man group originated as the original cast of “Jersey Boys” on Broadway. After a three-season run, the four singers banded together to form The Midtown Men and went on to bring their musical talents to audiences around North America with almost 1,000 live shows.

As the first-ever group formed from a Broadway principal cast, the Men have gained a loyal following from their tours throughout the United States and recently internationally They offer a place for fans to gather and read updates at http://www.themidtownclub.com. The Midtown Men continue to define the marketplace for the sound and musical genre.
Their ambitious schedule continues with dates scheduled well into 2017. Last weekend they sold out BB Kings in New York City and the night after played to an 8000 person crowd at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
Expanding his Broadway involvement Mr Wirth teamed up with music icon John Legend as Producers to present the critically acclaimed ” Turn Me Loose.” The Broadway smash is about Dick Gregory and his success from the 60’s through today.
The hit opened up on May 19 2016 starring Joe Morton as Dick Gregory.
The reviews have been unprecedented and the show is playing at the Westside Theater on West 43rd Street in New York City.
